New Year 1-1-11




Last year's resolution was to eat more bacon - not necessarily literally.... This year I resolve to be more thoughtful about what I eat and to enjoy everything thoroughly but in moderation. I am looking forward to looking back and seeing where my food journey leads me in the coming year.

Todays meals were:
Last of the braunschweiger on sourdough, that's mayo peeking through the holes, and a clementine
Off to a party in the city for Pea Soup and Whiskey Sours - small cup of soup, one short sour - no photo
Root Vegetable Bisque for dinner - 3 white sweet potatoes, 2 russet potatoes, 3 onions very caramelized, 1 red pepper, 1/2 chipotle in adobo, veg broth, simmered and blended with 1/2 can coconut milk - delish - sweet and spicy
1/2 grilled cheddar on sourdough and one homemade herb flatbread cracker
glass o wine
